whywhy-studio is a graphic design studio composed of two graphic designers, Kim Yeoho and Jeong Yonggi. whywhy-studio maintains a proactive attitude of constantly attempting to imagine - what can be done as designers today - to build a transparent world. Primarily, they undertake tasks such as posters, books, websites, exhibitions, brand identity, motion, but they also enjoy experimenting with speculative elements.

Kim Yeoho is more concerned with 'what to say' rather than 'how to say it', investing in the reexpression and reinterpretation of something incompletely, finding great enjoyment in expressing these through conceptual language (typography). Recently, the most impressive movie watched is 『Nobody Knows』 by Hirokazu Koreeda

Jeong Yonggi enjoys 'web deformation' to achieve desired purposes. However.. he believes form follows function. Nonetheless.. he enjoys the various boundaries and sizes that the web possesses, listening to the voices (perhaps... shouts) of diverse people, and showing interest in ornamentation and information, conflict, and fragments.
whywhy studio, created on January 13, 2024, started with a sense of challenge to welcome the new year. The common starting letter 'y' from their English names (Yeo-ho, Yong-gi) was taken and applied to the name of the studio, which also means 'why'.
