The blurry, scattered, and rough letters written in the corner of page 8 of the newspaper exist as an open text, deviating from their original form and meaning, requiring individual interpretation. They do not represent an absence of meaning but rather provide a space that invites imagination to fill the void. Perhaps the act of imagining within the unclear is where uniqueness and universality converge. In such a space that evokes imagination, I reflect on what it means to be an open medium—something that can transcend fixed linguistic systems and be newly interpreted.
