The exhibition “Fragmented & Unfolding” is a two-person show by artists Park Geurim and Jang Seunggeun, exploring a visual language centered on the themes of spatial division and expansion.
The poster design focuses on translating the exhibition’s title — “Fragmented & Unfolding” — into a structural play of layers and forms.
Clear typography, composed of a minimal type selection, ensures visual clarity, while the exhibition title, artists’ names, and date information are placed on separate layers yet aligned within a shared modular grid. This grid division symbolically mirrors the rhythm of “divided planes” and “open surfaces” found within the physical exhibition space.
More than a promotional graphic, the poster serves as a visual interpretation of the exhibition’s spatial and formal inquiry. It exemplifies whywhy studio’s approach of “transforming concept into form”—a methodology that continues to evolve even within printed media.
